Tankman

Been wokin' on a Work Horse all during the winter.

The Work Horse was headed to scrap. I offered to haul it away. Free.

The Horse was in a barn, not used in ten years. So far, all's goin' well with the Pop-Pop / Grandson project.

:USA:  :wh:  I am glad you started this post I just bought in all the body and engine parts to get sand blasted. this has been sitting around for at least 3 years. Being retired now I have the time to finish it . The engine is all rebuilt to new specks. This is what I have done so far. Enjoy the ride Gary B.....    th_2brothers004.jpg

The big projects here this year are: Another metal building in the back yard.30 feet by 30 feet with 12 foot high walls and two 10 foot by 10 foot roll-up doors. Also got an 11,000 watt Generac generator scheduled for delivery tomorrow.I'm sick and tired of the power outages here.Power was off for a while just last night.I'll be doing all the site prep work for the building.Work crew comes with the building and erects it.I'll be doing all the prep work for the generator.Electrician friend of mine will be doing the tie-in work to the main box.Should keep me busy for a while.

Well I wasnt going to post yet because I havent finished my first project. I scrapped out my D160 and had to use some parts off of my C101. I didnt want to throw out all the leftovers so I sat and looked at it for a while and came up with this. It's called " D-lite". It has a narrowed and shortened D series grille shell, will have a Kohler 25hp V-twin driving a cub hydrostat rear axle assembly. I will be building a frame for it out of the C & D series frames and some 2" angle. Front axle will be a flipped 702 axle with stock spindles. Might try for power steering if I get that far. As I am still in the planning stages, this is all I have for now.

Thats the only green in the collection and its a worker. When it dies, i'm robbing the power steering off of it. Other than the cub 127 and the mowette mustang, the rest are all red.If this one goes as planned, you'll never know the rear end is out of a cub. Thanks,Richie
