JackC 616 #28 Posted March 23, 2015 Jack: You should not have an issue with that set-up. The 518xi and single stage chewed through exactly what you described with ease. I did need to take smaller bites when it was in the 12 to 14" range, but it handled the stuff just fine..... One thing I keep mentioning is SNO-JET.... Coat it good and it's just like water being sprayed on a freshly waxed car. Rolls right off! Rob SNO-JET? I have to admit I have never heard of that. I will get some and try it. Rob R 951 #29 Posted March 23, 2015 Lots of snow in Brewster, NY this year w/o my C81w/plow and GT14 w/SSblower, really don't know what I would have done with my 80' driveway, only repair I did was a new auger bearing on the drive side of the blower (was on the way out when I started the season)..... I thought they went out of business shortly after I bought mine in 95? Nice tractors at any rate. That is my 2000 520xi with the new design decals by Vinylguy at REDOYOURHORSE.COM. I also took the headlight assembly apart last year to clean, and while it was apart painted the chrome-plating except for the headlight area with black paint.
