I finally received the edge trim from Egypt. Just a bit less than expected as the design was not quite as the exploded image detail showed. The size was also a bit narrower than the original. If you didn't know any better I guess it would pass, although I hoped it would have been just a little bit closer to the picture. Maybe after the paint is given another week to cure I will be able to hit the bare neck with some clear.

Sprayed some clear on the bare filler neck area. Also added the edge trim and glass bowl filter shut-off with the chrome nipple.  Still need to clean up the threads on the 4 studs.

Looks like the edge trim was worth the wait. The whole tank turned out super. That will be one fine tractor with all the attention to detail you are giving it!
