Are you looking for some help here??  :)  Nice pictures.  I agree...the picture in your other post...that half of the case is toast.

1045...kinda hard to find tractor.   The transmission on this tractor...maybe not as hard to find.  This tractor was built with a 5025 model trans per the manuals I've looked up.    Other tractors with this model 5025 3 speed unidrive are 854's, 653's, 753's 603's ,633's and probably more.   other similar  transmissions off other tractors would  maybe work too.

maybe put an add in the wanted section..you might just find one ... :)

Well that's a nice piece of info. I thought all 3 speeds were universal

davoman to the rescue.  King Horse, you may want to post some pictures of the shaft that sits in those bearings...thinking get the whole package at once.  :eusa-think:

Yep...that is called an "11 / 44 toothed" gear or mushroom gear.  You would need one from a 5025 3 speed trans...not from a 4 speed transmission.  That gear, you have, is long enough to have your brake drum on it.  In the 4 speed transmissions, the brake drum sits on the cluster gear shaft (which comes out a different hole) in the trans case.  :)

So that gear rides on the #4 needle bearing?

It is hard to tell in your picture, but it looks like a yes.  The chewed up end of that gear sits in the spot that is all chewed up.  :)  Take a picture that shows the whole inside of that case.

I will try but it won't let me upload that big of picture file. I was just confused on why there was a worm gear in a needle bearing.

Right...that is supposed to be smooth.  So, did you find any parts??  We have a swap meet coming up April 25th in Mentone, Ind...not far from you.  If you can make it, I know a couple of guys that may have all the parts you need.  :)

I have some local people with transmissions for sale. Just getting with them is the issue. I am going to try to be there to do some selling.
