I was surprised when she got home the girlfriend didnt say much other than it doesn't look right over there in the corner...It belongs in the great room. Its more open.....

312Hydro 473 #9 Posted February 15, 2015 If you put it in front of the couch, it would make a great coffee table! Just be sure to use coasters so you don't ruin the patina! Thanks for sharing and yes, I'm envious!
JC 1965 1,528 #10 Posted February 15, 2015 Well Jeff I don't think you're sick, maybe just a little different but nothing wrong with being different. Now having said that, I would keep an eye on that horse cause they have a way of multiplying.
Jack Fate 7 #11 Posted February 15, 2015 Use to winter a couple motor cycles in the living room. I'd say your just fine[emoji6]
Tim 97 #12 Posted February 15, 2015 I think your real problem is you asking people on this forum if this is an issue. Ask you next door neighbor or someone at work if they think it's a problem. that's where you'll get an "honest" answer. if I did that, it would be a while before I was let back in the "big bed" she's a keeper
tunahead72 2,337 #13 Posted February 15, 2015 No Jeff, you're not sick, and you certainly don't need a doctor. Only problem I see is that looks like a real nice floor under that tractor, you may want to put something down to protect it. Other than that, the lady says OK, go for it! Spareparts 84 #15 Posted February 15, 2015 When I was younger and collecting for the paper route their was a Dr. that had his airplane in his family room rebuilding it, so why not have a couple of horses???
ronwh 180 #16 Posted February 15, 2015 I would say you should keep the round hood where it is and add a black hood for the coffee table/catch all. Notice I said ---you should. Ron

Docwheelhorse 2,560 #24 Posted February 16, 2015 Well.... its been so cold out that I moved this into the flippin kitchen for a few days till the temp stabilizes. I just picked it up last week and it still has the factory break in oil in it---I bought it "used" with 1 hour on it. I don't know the weight of the oil in it and was concerned with temps being so low that it wouldn't start up if I needed it. Wife wasn't terribly happy with the idea... but after I explained she was cool with it. Man I wish I had a walk out basement to stick it in there with the wood stove... I have to come up with some way of keeping it "warm and happy" out in the workshop.... or at least 10/30 synthetic oil so I know it will turn over and run with good lubrication from the get go. Tony Your not any sicker than the rest of us!!!!!!
