dcrage 620 #52 Posted March 3, 2015 I for one am GLAD I haven't had to push any snow so far this year! -- Still have plenty of time to get dumped on here in MO though Who was the dumb ass to brag about no snow in MO -- Let's see now -- I have been out clearing the drive way three times since I made this premature celebratory post about a mild winter here
Digger 66 3,476 #54 Posted March 5, 2015 I love the snow but when there's 4 foot piles at the end of my driveway , that's a real pain. I'm ready for springtime too & ATV season .

rmaynard 14,805 #57 Posted March 6, 2015 Never had a bit of trouble with the B-100 pushing snow since I got it back in 1993, but this winter I couldn't keep her running. Had to keep choking it and adjusting the main jet needle. Got real tired of that so I rebuilt another carburetor that I had and put that on. Did the same thing. So I ordered one of those $75.00 Chinese carburetors on eBay, and installed it yesterday. Right out of the box, with no adjustment necessary, it ran like a race horse. Pushed 10* of new snow today for three hours with no problems. Still can't wait till spring.
JERSEYHAWG / Glenn 4,487 #58 Posted March 6, 2015 The 520 with the single stage did its work again today. We ended up with 9 inches and now the super cold sets in for a couple days. I think todays snow storm was winters swan song. Come on spring,,,,giddy up. Glenn

Coadster32 793 #60 Posted March 6, 2015 I'm trying to figure out how yo politely ask my neighbor to stop plowing my driveway b4 I get home so I can have some fun plowing. Careful what you wish for. I had more than my fill of seat time this winter. Sucks after working 12hr days, coming home to 1.5hs of snow removal. I'm tired as heck.

Rick_in_CT 156 #62 Posted March 6, 2015 I ran into someone yesterday from Canada, he said up there they call it 9 months of winter and 3 months of road repair. Food for thought.

AMC RULES 36,937 #64 Posted March 7, 2015 (edited) Even with all that over time.... Craig is tired of pushin it back.. Lost track...but, something like 160 hrs of OT in the past three weeks alone. Yep, I'm tired of it...long term, it's actually an incredibly stressful activity. At this point, you could only imagine my rant. squonk 38,572 #65 Posted March 7, 2015 Talk about stress.I go to cardiac rehab 3 days a week. The girls always complain that my blood pressure is low like 95 over 60. Wednesday an A/C unit in the IT room went out. A control board malfunctioned.Several trips walking back and forth (Steve would enjoy watching me! ) across the parking lot carrying tools and test eq. If the IT room goes down the whole hospital goes with it. We get it rigged up to run. Board has to be made! I get to rehab and they say I didn't take my medicine because my heart rate is 25 points higher than normal. I say I indeed took it and my heart rate is because I deal with idiot's all day long. I've been telling them for years they need to replace the A/C units. Yesterday my beginning blood pressure was 92 over 58. My last exercise was on the treadmill. My personal phone rings and I let it go to voicemail. When I'm done I check it and it's our snarky secretary telling me I HAVE to call the IT room because they are worried that something might happen over the weekend. After the treadmill we have a 15 min cool down and my BP is 120 over 80. All through the rest of rehab it was barely over 100. As Bill Ingvall say's I just hate stupid people!
