Austin860 82 #1 Posted January 28, 2015 Got these for 15 bucks from my friend who's a john deere guy. It's only the fronts but that's perfect because the rear have the plastic weights. Got em really dirty, and rusty. Washed em off with some hot water and soap, banged out the dent, then used about a whole box of tin foil polishing em haha

Tankman 3,515 #3 Posted January 28, 2015 Picked up a set of baby moons a couple of years ago. An old timer gave 'em to me! Geeze if they weren't so expensive all the Horses would wear them when weights weren't on for work. Got these for 15 bucks from my friend who's a john deere guy. GlenPettit 1,714 #4 Posted January 28, 2015 (edited) For some of the rusted spots, you can 'sort-of' replace some of the Chrome by rubbing with crumpled-up Aluminum Foil, then a layer of wax; tiny pieces of the foil catch on the rust and pits. They look Great ! And the cookies help. Edited January 28, 2015 by GlenPettit
