Austin860 82 #8 Posted January 25, 2015 Middle of winter, noones digging em out of the sheds. As soon as spring starts they will be back out, and I'm sure genos horse hunting will continue, ruthlessly.

Geno 1,928 #10 Posted January 26, 2015 I'm hiding. We're busy switching the business over to mostly Wheel Horse this month and making a lot of changes. Our official business name change is looking like it will be close to Feb 1. We've bought and sold quite a bit and adding something new this coming weekend. We have a goal for every month this year and a 3 year plan to make this thing big, so big I can't even believe it myself. Started in Jan, Feb is finish a part of the shop into a full parts fabrication section month, start getting a product list together for our store, getting all the details out for our 1st annual Spring show, and get ready for March when we will start buying like we never have before. We have already made a place for tractor inside storage at the farm that will hold over 500 more Horses. This is what we've decided we're doing the rest of our lives so it is full steam ahead.

truckin88 104 #16 Posted January 26, 2015 (edited) no offense but happy geno is down south and Geno I wish you the best of luck in your business endeavor. If he is fulltime WH it will hurt the hobbiest who has a real full time job. he will always get to the WH first. I am actually surprised there is enough demand to run a fulltime business, toro didn't think so. I would think about expanding the brand to some others with big followings like simplicities or case/ingersolls. Up in the northeast most have moved on to faster better cutting ZTR's (scag, toro, exmark, bobcat, hustler etc or subcompact from the likes of deere, bota, nh and massey. rmaynard 14,864 #17 Posted January 26, 2015 Geno - All I will say is that you should make it a point to attend the Wheel Horse show in Arendtsville, Pa this June and see what the Wheel Horse hobby is really all about.
Hodge71 662 #18 Posted January 26, 2015 Geno - All I will say is that you should make it a point to attend the Wheel Horse show in Arendtsville, Pa this June and see what the Wheel Horse hobby is really all about. Not sure I want him there... There will never be anything to buy and whats there will be even crazier priced than it was. I love going to the BIG show and horse trading
Geno 1,928 #19 Posted January 26, 2015 Take it from someone who is new to this and bought over 200 tractors and attachments in 6 month and turned down almost as much... They are everywhere so quit your whining.
bmsgaffer 2,043 #20 Posted January 26, 2015 So now I know where all the horses have gone and will go for the foreseeable future, great. Sometimes this hobby starts to feel less fun.

They are overpriced, too far gone, too far away... same reasons we all would...
bmsgaffer 2,043 #22 Posted January 26, 2015 Eh, im just in a sour mood I havent had much time to work on the horses. Hopefully I'll have some time to get down there to check out your operation. Need any engineering work done? At least by the time you get this going you'll have good connections to get anything done on the tractors and hopefully you'll give me a good deal on the tractor I will inevitably buy from you someday...
