Hit by a train on an unmanned railway crossing a year or so ago, Apparently the weight of the heavy trailer being towed on the drawbar caused the rear of the tractor and cab to rotate up and back out of the way when the train took the front off.Driver I believe escaped with just bumps and bruises. I don't know what this would cost new, but I think it made around £9500. in the auction. At least it's GREEN and not RED

Wow just amazing he lived. But by looking at the cab you can see it was possible.

In my 22 years of railroading I ran over and through my share but never hit a tractor.

They were lucky they did not derail.

3 cars.

2 suicides

1 kid on a bike - Only broke his leg thank God

1 bathtub full of slag. That was lound and had a few rocks come through the cab windows.

1 mallard duck broke through the front door window. I was down in the nose at the time and the duck landed dead in my seat.

missed one gas tanker by inches, took me a year to calm down after that.

It is a helpless feeling when you see it coming and can not do anything about it.
