MaineDad 85 #1 Posted October 24, 2008 Hey guys, I had my driveway paved this week and I now have a huge pile of loam and some major grading to do this weekend. So....... I just bought a 50 inch mid mount grader blade from Bill in Maine, same great WH guy that I bought my tiller from. It's in great shape too! I will take some before, during, and after pictures of the grading. If I can get my son to do some video, I'll post that too. My goal is to use the 314-8 with the dozer blade to move the loam around, then use the C-160 with the grader blade to finish things off. Stay tuned :banghead:
Nick 13 #2 Posted October 24, 2008 Depending on how things have been piled up you might be surprised at just what can be tackled with the grader blade. Looking forward to your action shots and video. :banghead:
mailman 1 #3 Posted October 24, 2008 Wow, Micah, your attachments are adding up! I would love a grader blade but they can be pricey. But then so can those Brinly tool bars! :banghead:

glenn27 64 #6 Posted October 25, 2008 Micah--you have compiled quite a list there--I'm impressed!! I have left the mid-mount blade on my C-120A for awhile now---every time, I'm going to take it off--I need it for something else.... It's a little awkward getting used to lowering it/raising it at first--but doesn't take too long to get the hang of it. Put a little dab of grease or white lube where it hooks up---makes it easy to rotate and remove. Take care!! glenn

MaineDad 85 #10 Posted November 17, 2008 Nothing but rain every weekend - it's driving me nuts not to be able to grade it away from the new driveway! I'm afraid that I will have melting onto the driveway and a buildup of ice. Plus now it's not going to get out of the 30's with a possible snow storm next weekend. Will take pics when I can...
