Toro reel mower.

I picked this up off CL a few week ago. Doesn't run, but turns over and it has spark. I do have the belt guard, I took it off as I plan to dismount the engine. Got mainly for it's cool factor and 'cuz it's red   ...but plan on making it a worker out of it. Looks to be late 60's - early 70's?

 

As a kid I worked for a nursery mowing lawns. I ran and maintained a small fleet of Locke mowers for many summers. We had a few of these type of reel mowers too. The blades and cutting edge look good. A little lapping compound and it should be good to go. Provided I can get it running.
