Recommended Posts

Just wondering if any of the eight or nine Floridians with Wheelhorses are going to the show in Feb. I am planning on going for the friday 20th show. Post up here. We can meet up somewhere

This Florida Flywheelers Show is well worth the trip and the experience is unforgettable!   Lots of very unusual motorized items!

Sounds like a plan to me. A Florida :wh: meet and greet. I don't think parking will be a problem. :eusa-whistle:

Are you going to do the meet part and me the greet part or vice-versa? Parking shouldn't be a problem :laughing-rolling:

We can switch off Richie :) We'll have to make sure all the other Florida members at least hear about this. That will be quite a task that could take as long as five minutes.

I was referring to the breakfast on the way to the show :) I've never been to the show so I don't know much about it. Meeting more members there would be great. You can come to the breakfast too! :handgestures-thumbsup:

Had a great time at the show. Not much red in a sea of green. Hope to change that next year. Met Chris (clueless) from N Fl. Super nice guy. My friend Mike (jd110) my wife and I went friday morning. Too much to look at but did get some pics. Nothing spectacular, some nice and some hacked up. Chris did bring something red home but Ill let him spill the beans. I fell in love with that Holder

Looks like a great time Richie. Thanks for posting the pics. I wish my little mutt wouldn't have forced me to change my plans. Chris, where are you? We all want to see what the red you brought home was.

Sorry it took so long. Had other things going on. I really enjoyed the Flywheeler event. Richie, his wife, and Mike are a really great bunch. I have been planning on going to this for a few years, but now that I'm retired I actually have time to do it. It was well worth my 975 mile round trip. I picked up a nice 702 that I have been wanting for a while. After checking it out there is a lot of fresh red paint on everything which is usually not a good sign. However, I found everything to be in good shape and it runs and rides well. The throttle cable to the governor is not right, I think (see bottom pictures). If anyone has pictures of the right way it goes I would like some see them.

Nice tractor Chris. That throttle hook up definitely isn't right. As is, the governor isn't going to work at all. The cable connects to the round thingy at the base of the arm. I do have some pictures but they are the wrong format. I'll try to convert them later today.
