Lane Ranger 10,474 #1 Posted December 1, 2014 I decided to place a new Wheel Horse Snowblower Belt on my Wheel Horse STR-324 Snowblower used on my 1967 Wheel Horse Lawn Ranger today. I had three NOS belts that I bought over the last few years and although my snowblower worked fine last year and ran well when I checked it recently I figured a five year old belt had to been stretched out some. It took about ten minutes to replace and I am good to go. I hope there will be a little boost in performance this year! I always tell folks the old Lawn Ranger ( 6 HP Tecumseh H-60 motor) snowblower won't throw the snow 30 feet like the newer tractors with bigger motors, etc but I still don't have to shovel the snow and it is fun to operate on this Lawn Ranger!

RMCIII 838 #6 Posted December 3, 2014 I think the little guy looks like he is ready to move a mountain of snow. Kinda like the "little engine that could". Rob

SousaKerry 500 #12 Posted December 5, 2014 If you think about it most walk behind blowers of that era were Tecumseh 5 and 6 HP engines. Although the engine in my 655 is so down on power that it won't run the deck....
