Cracked & dry hands

Any of you guys plagued by this ^ ?

Give this stuff a try :

http://okeeffescompany.com/

MAN , I've tried all the lotions & crap . Most of them don't work & leave you smelling like a girl  :hand: .

This stuff looks like Mink oil ( for leather ) but is  not at all greasy ( you won't even know you put it on ) , does not smell like anything & works incredible .

I have the same problem....cracked skin, chapped skin. Another reason to hate cold weather.

I use "Okeeffes" too.

I don't use it a religously as I should, but it is a good product.

I have suffered the affliction for decades. Nothing, and I mean NOTHING works but the arrival of Spring. In the meantime, I coat the ends of my fingers with pain relieving bacitracin ointment, then apply several layers of bandaids. 3M Nexcare Comfort Strips work the best.

I'm not kidding when I say that I have tried every so-called remedy advertised on TV, in magazine, and the Farmers Almanac.

Last year this same subject was discussed in a thread that I started:

You guys need to work on the Horses more and get more petroleum products on you.   :laughing-rolling:   No kidding, where I have oil or something petroleum on my hands about up to my elbows several days a week it takes care of it and those areas heal 10 times faster.  Hence Neosporin - 25% petroleum products...  From my hands to elbows are no problem, the rest is.  I tried something someone told me about a few years back for the extreme cold and it helps with dryness as well.  After you get done with a shower  take a damp washrag and knock off most of the water but not all, immediately cover yourself in lotion, it locks in the moisture.  I would have never believed it would make you feel much warmer and help with dryness but it does, you will tell it as soon as you step out of the shower.  I only do it when it get's really cold, Sandra does it every day all Winter.  Can't hurt to try.   :handgestures-thumbsup:

Bag balm or wool fat for me !!

I don't have an ongoing problem but when a salve is needed bag balm is my go-to. It simply works.

I super glue for cracks, it kills the pain instantly. Then I remember to use lotion!

Holy cow, I'd forgotten that commercial. If I soaked my fingers in dish washing liquid, the remaining oils in my fingers would be washed out and the tips would crack and fall off.

Yes. If it has been suggested or tried by someone else before, I have tried it without success.

99% fine unless I am working with gypsum.

Mostly fingers, but heels and bottoms of feet at times.

Don't worry, pictures will not be posted

If they're fine in the Summer it's must be a moisture problem I guess.  We gotta find a way to help you Bob!   :eusa-think:
