Ken B 3,116 #1 Posted November 23, 2014 Today I did some Horse tradin with Craig (AMCRules) I have always liked the 877 tractor's and I've had my eye on Craigs since the day I laid eyes on it. She's a keeper and will stay in its original condition. I went for a little ride on it today and when I tried to light my cigar my lighter wouldn't stay lit. Ken B 3,116 #15 Posted November 23, 2014 After Horse tradin with Craig yesterday later on in the day I took a 50 minute ride to Coadster32's house and picked up this 855. I think this one is going to be my wood hauler this winter. It runs absolutely MINT. today I added the rear tires with the weights off a parts tractor from Stevebo. When I got the tires off the parts tractor I couldn't believe how heavy they are. There is calcium in the tires as well, i'd have to say each tire weighs at least 125 pounds! I'm going to add some chains and put a blade on it. I think this tractor is going to be unstoppable in the snow..I'm going to either repaint the hood or find one with decent original paint.. Ken B 3,116 #21 Posted November 23, 2014 (edited) How did you get the weights off? The weights do not come off.. They are very discreetly welded on.. I had to remove the hubs on the 855 and mount them to the rims and then put on as an assembly. It would have been much easier if I put some studs thru the back of the hub. maybe next time.. squonk 38,902 #25 Posted November 24, 2014 The Sqonkfest 1267 has all 4 tires filled with RV antifreeze plus 40 lb rear weights. You can feel how much heavier it is just pushing it.
