rmaynard 14,805 #28 Posted November 22, 2014 Eric - Yes, it was the Seven Valley's guy. I had been there about two years ago when he was selling a 702. He wanted $250 for it, and it was a real junker. I offered him $100 and he turned it down. He should have taken it because today he said he ended up scrapping it. I did get a good deal on the B-60, and I would like to know the history on it. Seven Valley's guy said that he had traded for it, but I don't know the whole story behind it. I'll probably be at Little Guy's show in the spring and you can update me then unless we get together sooner. Bob

rmaynard 14,805 #30 Posted November 22, 2014 Well, there is one thing to be said for electric start models, cold weather is less of an issue. Checked the oil, put in some fresh gas, and gave the starter a tug... I'll try again in the spring. 30 degrees here this morning.

My current mower (till i get the WH done to my satisfaction) is an older snapper walk behind: 14hp pull start only... I have to throw a heater on it below 60*F or i think I will tear my arm outta socket. I have only once tried to start it below 35* (had to move it) never started and hurt my arm for weeks.

He had some other nice stuff then too.
jwiss1995 17 #34 Posted November 23, 2014 (edited) I got a raider 10 and a 655 from that guy. Also picked up a k181 complete engine. Decent guy to deal with but he's definitely firm on his prices! I think he knocked off 5 bucks for the engine I bought lol. But, he threw in some wood skids for my wife last time so she can do her projects and let me be in the garage :) Edited November 23, 2014 by jwiss1995
