hm12460 53 #126 Posted November 23, 2014 I'd be more worried about the snow load on the roof's more than anything else. I thought us Michi-ganders were tough, but you folks must be some kind of tough the rest of us can only dream about.

craigbic 47 #129 Posted November 23, 2014 Wow! I really can't imagine that much snow all at once. I'm spoiled here in Western Mass. Most I've gotten was 36". Nice fleet of Wheel Horse iron BTW - I LOVE the gas pump! I'm jealous!
boovuc 1,090 #130 Posted November 23, 2014 Cutlas, Digger & the rest of the Western NY Snowmen, I hope your basements stay dry during the warm up and the lakes freeze during a cold snap real soon. Your municipalities are going to blow through their fuels, cinders and salt allocations and probably what they allocate for overtime before the season is half over. Looks like you got a winter's worth in 5 days and it isn't even winter yet! I can't imagine all that snow getting saturated on the bottom layers then re-freezing! My sympathies on the mess and your sore aching bodies!
Brrly1 1,146 #131 Posted November 23, 2014 I'm just glad it wasn't a Noreaster. That's where the winds come out of the Northeast and Toledo would have got the snow instead of Buffalo. I'd have to wait until spring to open garage door. Sorry, but you guys can keep it.

Digger 66 3,476 #136 Posted November 24, 2014 What creek is that ? Smokes ? Here's the tongue jack off my sled trailer . My conservative estimate is +/- 3000 lbs on the top of the aluminum cap . Props to Triton trailers for making one worthy of a Buffalo storm . The jack , on the other hand was a $20 harbor-freight cheapie . You get whatcha pay for !
