Ho Ho Ho, who's dealt with snow?

OK, so I hope I covered all bases - :D

Snow makes for forum fun, so I thought this would be fun. We can do it again next season!

Those south of the equator should include winter 2007 in this survey!

I hope everyone is having fun!

It's a shame that we can't vote for 2, I have used both the blower and the blade on my horses to clear the snow.

Karl,

Ya know, I thought of that - AFTER I posted it. It looks like I cannot edit the polls.

Next year we need to include YES- Used Tractor and Dozer/Plow & Snow Blower.

I guess for this year you will have to choose the other category!

I will be interested if any of the other categories get votes!

What about the lesser amounts? Anything up to 6" I just pack down. LOL

Really only had 2 significant snowfalls this season so far.

Both have been upwards of 10" in a short time :D

We had about 4 inches a couple of weeks ago, but since I have no plow and/or blower yet for one of my Wheel Horses, then I had to answer - No. I used a manual plow (snow shovel) using minimal horse power (myself). Hopefully no more snow will fall until I can rectify the no plow situation. :D

I could only vote once, but fell into 4 different catagories.

The snow is still coming down, I might even get creative and figure out another method of snow removal.

Maybe blow it away with the old yazoo mower?

I can't participate in this.

No snow, no sleet, nothing.... :D

But, we have had quite a good bit of rain, so I'm not complaining. After seeing some of the pictures you folks have posted, I now understand why some of you talk about waiting until spring to work on your tractors. Looks mighty cold up there!

I went with line (9), but looks like (2) is similiar too on the poll.

Jim if you hold onto a bag of salt & do 360"s on the Yazoo while spreading it you'll have something.

Oh and make sure you drink some of Karl's favorite wine too :D

Kevin....you are really missing out :P

So far this week I've used the 416-H with the Johnny bucket, the GT-14 with a blade, The D-180 with the blower and the Power King with the blade.

Stephen, I like your salt spreader idea, I'll have to wait a few hours before I try it, the neighbors will talk if they see me drinking wine at 7:00 AM.

Update...I won't be moving snow with the D-180 anymore, I just sold it. Now I have room for one or 2 more tractors!

I miss it already but money talks, and I guess he wanted it worse than I did.

Stephen,

Tell me more about your D series.
