rustykan 140 #1 Posted October 30, 2014 Anyone know what wire sizes were used in the wiring harness for a 1976 C-120? I would like to make a new harness, but I am not sure what the wire sizes are. I can't read anything on the old wires. Just guessing they are probably 16 or 18 ga.. Anyone know for sure?

rustykan 140 #5 Posted November 1, 2014 I used 14 Ga. on my last 2 rewires. Were do you get your terminals from? The spade terminals with locking tabs seem to be hard to find.

rustykan 140 #7 Posted November 1, 2014 I have a new old stock 1977 C-120 wiring harness and the wires are all 16 gauge. I started making the new harness with 14 ga. wire. I have a bunch that I got on clearance, but it's all black. I am color coding the ends with heat shrink for identification purposes and I am going to use large heat shrink tubing to cover the bundles of wiring. Finding the right connectors has been difficult. I've got it mostly done, but I had to order a couple larger female spade terminals for the PTO safety switch which has two terminals that have two wires each. Guess I'll have to wait for them to show up!

I use, The repair connector store and PCS- Performance Connector Systems. Edited November 1, 2014 by Wishin4a416
