DP-861 Disc Find

Recommended Posts

Molon_Labe

I was wondering when the next installment would show up, looks great!  I think you should keep that one clean and get another one for a worker.  :text-+1:

Geno, if I can find another one before spring planting time I'll take your advise on this one. It's been fun. I'll post another pic with the :wh: decal when I get it.

Tom.

They look great, you have done a very good job. I have also just seen the picture of it behind your suburban and it looks very cool! Do you have any other pictures of it on your suburban?

Thanks for the pictures, it looks awesome! You should enter those pictures on the 2015 calendar thread because they would look great in the calendar. Are the discs very heavy?

Thanks again Tom,

The weight of the disc really isn't that bad but does take considerable effort with the lift lever which I contribute mostly to the cast iron used for the gangs. As far as the calendar goes, I'm not sure this is the type of material that would make the grade but I appreciate the thought! One thing I do know for certain is there is no other disc currently produced for a garden tractor that allows the operator to adjust the gang angle from the drivers seat, or for that matter have a single piece of cast iron on them. We have lost so much in the name of progress...
