Greetings all,

I have a work horse LT-1100 that will only run with the choke on. Any suggestions?

The carburetor is DIRTY! Remove it from the engine and soak it in carb cleaner...does a world of good.

I noticed I little oil under my cylinder head when I moved it the other day. Any chance it could be the cylinder head gasket?

Only if its OHV but in that model its a flat head unless someone changed the engine so no but it could be coming from the breather or the carb and leaking down and dripping from the head

Before you tear the carb off try the easy remedy, mix 50% marvel mystery oil to 50% gas and let it get to the carb and sit for a day or two and then try again, that will often loosen the dirt and gum and you don't even need to remove it.
