Late to this, but it's great to see him doing so well!    

 

Yet another reason for my feet to not leave the ground ... seriously - I get nervous jumping out of the back of my pickup!

Took Mike for his 8 week check up.  X-rays show everything  i.e. plates, screws and bone parts are where they should be with good signs of healing in the knee and shoulder.   He will be in therapy for 6 more weeks, then may be able to start to put weight on the leg.

Took Mike for his check up today.  GOOD NEWS...  All is healing well and the surgeon gave him the OK to start to put some weight on his leg. 

It's been a long 4 months in wheelchairs and on crutches.   Thanks again for all your thoughts and prayers.

Craig, I seem to recall a long recovery in your past! My wife won't allow me on a ladder over twelve feet. I guess I won't ever be sitting on a ridge ventilating, as I did on the FD, anymore.
