Hi all I've mowed for years with a 414-8 and now have picked up a 653 down the road that I want to restore and make like new again, overall the shape is excellent and everything is there but the gascolater which is an easy replace. I'm working on a frame off with an 59 economy jim dandy so as soon as it's done this new Beauty will be next

The glass fuel bowl/filter under the gas tank. That's what I've always known them as anyways

Hello and :WRS:    Nice tractor and attachments!  I haven't heard the term gascolater in many years, I think most people call them sediment bowls now.

:WRS:  Nice looking bunch you picked up there!  There was another member looking for pictures and dimensions not that long ago of that snowblower lift rod you have there in your pictures, maybe you can help him out!
