I am thinking of buying a d160 with a hydrostatic transmission and a 16 HP onan engine. What kinda attachments can I put on this is 1200 a good deal.

Myself, I don't do D's.  They are too hard to find parts for and harder to work on when they break.  :eusa-doh:

D's use a different style attachment but wheel horse made the same thing for the D's but with a different mount length and what not.

I've heard the same thing about the D's too. Not only are parts hard to find but are expensive as well . some friends just talked me out of a 180 with snow plow and eck for 600. I've never had one though

Desko has a great point, all the attachments are different and higher priced.  :eusa-doh:

1200 sounds like to much.

The D series are awesome machines, love them :woohoo:  :happy-jumpeveryone:

Attachments are endless for these, front loader, backhoe, front, mid and rear blades, tillers, snow blowers, pretty much anything you could need.

Right now the market is flooded with D series parts and some attachments.

I do agree that $1200 for a D is on the high side with no attachments.

The Onan is a good engine, atleast mine has been.

Good luck with it.

I too have a d series....180....and it gets its most use in the winter.....

1200 is too high a price for just a tractor.....IMHO....

Sent from where I am.......
