gwest_ca-(File Mod) 10,489 #2 Posted September 27, 2014 The 42" RD deck would be 1980-1983 model 05-42MR01 or similar The 37" SD deck could be 1986-1990 model 05-37SC01 using a double-V 6-sided belt or 1990 model 05-37SC02 using a regular v-belt. bmsgaffer 2,043 #4 Posted September 27, 2014 (edited) Get the toro belts. They have a oddball V shape (in between A and B ) and thus wear out faster if you just pick up a generic. Especially the 6 sided belt, doubt you will find that at Napa... I tried using generics on an 8 speed drive belt and had a hell of a time getting it to work right.
