Wheelhorse home made generator

Recommended Posts

diggerjames

Hi all as most of you may know I'm a bit of a wheelhorse Nut , and we all like to make and design our own attachment and adapt our machines to be as versatile as possible I've seen some original wheel horse generators on the net but they are very rare so I've decided to build one . I first started by sourcing a 240v Generator off that site . Then I've now been designing my own quick release cradle for it to sit in .

Looking good so far. Have ben thinking about doing the same thing, but already have two portable generators. Would be nice to have one on the Wheel Horse tough so I don't have to load one of the others in the cart. Darn things are heavy and I'm not getting any younger. :flags-texas:

I think the best set up is to have a receiver hitch front and rear for attachments myself. I have done that on my "High Horse". That way it's a lot easier to install and remove any add-ons. I have a sprayer I use on the rear and am in the process of putting a winch on the front.
