What A Great Site!

Recommended Posts

Dave H.

Good Day,

I just wanted to express my sincerest thanks to the contributers on this site. I have spent many hours reading the posts here and they have helped me figure out the "secret code" of the Wheel Horse electrical system.

I would like to send out a special thanks to Nick (KM3H) "416 No Start Electrical Problems" and to Gino for his great advice under this topic.

I'm looking forward to learning much more here. Your members have a wealth of knowledge they share on this site.....I just wanted to say THANKS!

Best Regards To All,

Dave

I see we are well represented by fellow service members. I'm retired now, but it warms my heart to see these fine people proudly serving their country.

Thanks to all for the Welcome! It's much appreciated.

Thanks Geno, I have you and Nick to thank for getting me out of trouble with my 314 8 electrical problems.

I believe I'll be learning quite a bit from you and others in the future.

Dave 40 years ago I was making C-5A's fly so that's pretty much the same as a barn door! :)

Back in '79 I packed my gear into one of your Galaxy's. Very smooth ride. The d*mn thing is so heavy, it parts the air. You gotta love the team over at Lockheed.

Were you flight crew?

443 FMS, field maintenance on the C-5A and C-141A, I just turned the wrenches and fixed what was broke. Glad you enjoyed the ride! Huge is an understatement for those things, especially when you see them with a belly full of HUEY'S and the troop deck full.

I imagine the "gripe sheet" on that monster was considerable.

P: Test Flight OK; Except Auto-Land very rough.

S: Auto-Land not installed on this aircraft Sir.

You remember those.........
