Can a Wheel Horse/Toro 79108 44" recycler deck fit??

Hey guys...  I have a 2000 314-8 as my mower Wheel Horse...  and have that typical side discharge deck...

 

Just spotted a local ad for a 79108 recycler deck which looks pretty nice.  My Implement compatibility chart indicates it is not a fit.  Have any of you modified or heard of a 79108 being modified/used for my application???  Hate to buy it and it not work ....

 

fyi..  compatibility chart says a 42" (78355) and 48" (78365) are the right ones...

 

Looks to me like the mounting system is altogether different but.... darn, I want a recycler... (that works)

I believe those mower decks were made for the XL Series and are  quite different from the ones used on 300 series tractors.   Check out the drawings on Partstree.com  under Toro Consumer and 79108 for the recycler deck.    The recycler decks were made in the early 1990's that would go on your 314-8.    My 314-8  I just bought a couple weeks ago has a R542RC01  recycler deck from a 312-8 I bought that I gave to my brother for mowing.  I traded him a 42 inch side discharge deck which he liked better !
