whfan74 2,015 #101 Posted October 5, 2014 Wow, wow, wow! What a great day we had yesterday!!! I will add more throughout the week as I am still trying to recover from all of the fun! I will say it again, you folks are nuts! So many die hards driving from all over the Midwest to spend the day with us in less than ideal conditions. You are all amazing and I greatly appreciate your friendships! We are proud to announce that as a group we raised $1233 for St. Baldrick's this year. That puts our total over 5 grand in the past 4 years! You are all to be commended for your support and dedication! The raffle prizes/donations were absolutely amazing. What a great lesson in teamwork, compassion, and love! A huge thank you to Michael Biser (racinfool40) and Shana for all of your help the day before. You guys rock! Great meeting and talking with you sir!! Here is Scott's 1952 Ford (with a flathead V-8)...this really sounded nice. Here is what it looks like on Friday... Some neat parts that Scott has... T-shirts sent from Lars... It was a great time. Thanks Scott I should have taken pictures Saturday, but I never got back to my camera. BTW...Duke and MJ's glass ware is incredible. Thanks again Scott for the couch and recliner some of the best sleep I have had....and for leavin the radio on to drowned out some one snoring!! ...Now to sit and wait for next year. This would be a special moment I caught Scott, with his daughter and a friend walking all the way back to the barn from the middle of the field after the drive pulley decided to exit his 1045!
