Brought home a pony

Recommended Posts

Dhodge

I brought home my first R.J.  Not sure what year yet, but I believe 68 or 69.  Someone cut a hole in the hood for an exhaust pipe and it is missing the sediment bowl.  Mostly complete though.  The exhaust shield was taken off for the ride home, bit its there.  I am not sure the pulley / belt guard is correct though.

Give me your thoughts fella's

I think you meant 58 or 59 guard looks like a mower deck guard, but I'm not the mid engine guy here.

Congrats, nice score.   :handgestures-thumbsup:

Left front frame rail...

any remnants of the ID tag still in place?

Any numbers stamped on the trans top, next to the shifter?

Yes 1958 or 59.  My first 50's model.  Most of the rest are early 60's models.  I should have seen that when I reviewed my post.  I will be looking for a few parts.  I'm gonna try to put this one back to look like it did new---wish me luck!!  Any advise will be soaked up like a sponge.

Nothing.  I hate when the mod, serial and spec #'s are missing.

I'd say that little RJ is lucky to be rescued by a Red Square "Supporter"
