hpeeler 0 #1 Posted April 16, 2014 I have a 1989 416-8 and sometimes the parking brake light comes on and prevents it from cranking. If I readjust the seat position on the seat switch the light will go off and it will start. I would like to bypass the seat switch ( I know, flame away) so of the 3 wires, which ones do I jump? gwest_ca-(File Mod) 10,488 #2 Posted April 16, 2014 Here are the detailed wiring diagrams Garry Suspect the black ground wire at the light panel is not grounded or the same black wire at the parking brake switch is not grounded.
