So tell us more, what did you use and how did you do that??? That looks like steel am I correct? That is what I plan to do as well, on the front and on the back sides of both front wheels, plus fill the front tires.

I have a large sheet of I think 5/8" steel I plan on taking to work and having the boys there cut slugs out like that on the laser table,

same sort of deal as you have going on.

So did you just have one slab per wheel cut for the outside or did you have them cut for both outside and insides of the wheels? I plan on stacking them up on both the inside and outside until they are flush with the sidewalls.

I have 3/4 regular steel outside and 1/2 stainless inside

I have to work on valve stem clearance though

I have an extra set of the 1/2 stainless ones might go up for sale I have to make sure the holes are right first

Very nice!  These are 10 lb barbell plates. I had the same trouble with the valve stem.

Have you noticed any wear on the front end and steering components from the extra weight ?

No. The suitcase weights are for show mostly on this tractor. I use them for garden plowing too which is also a limited time. Other than that, they are off.

Are those suitcase weights actual WH weights or some other brand.

Your front weights look great!

I was thinking of using barbel weights but, yours look very, very nice!

Years ago needed and used the suitcase weights for plowing the gardens. My first plowing had the front wheels off the ground. Duh.   :laughing-rofl:

I made that bracket to hold 3 weights. I remember when I was a kid and my Dad plowed a big garden with a 604. The front wheels were off the ground almost the whole time!  :)
