Wishin4a416 2,185 #1 Posted March 29, 2014 I did get a little time to work on the project tractor today after topping out a tree and picking up the brush. Trying to get a jump on things before the grass starts. Anyway, I pulled the Stator off and gave it a good cleaning after pulling the connector off and snaking the wire out behind the bearing plate and replaced the connector after cleaning terminals with tarn-x. I had the wires identified so they went into the same holes in the connector. But I was just wondering, does it make a difference? And is there a way to pre-test the stator while out? I have it off until after rebuild. I'm not very electrical inclined. Thanks Jack
pfrederi 17,120 #2 Posted March 29, 2014 Both should be white wires with AC current so should not make a difference. From the Kohler Manual
