There isn't any prizes. Some on here will know as soon as they see it. It's Wheel Horse related. That hole was in the steel before we made it, has nothing to do with it's use.

Obviously, I have no clue. :bow-blue:

Is the groove for an "O"ring or snap ring?

My guess would be something more realistic for a steering wheel shaft through dash bushing.

My guess....  It is the plunger from inside of a jydraulic cylinder.  OR... part of a relief valve from an Eaton or Sundstrand hydro trans.

I can't believe no one has guessed it yet, it's so obvious. It's a Doo-Hingus!  :)

The small end is 1 1/2" diameter and the total length is 2".

Could be an arbor for installing the #1533 bearing.  :)

Good guess Scott.

Is it the axle for the barrel of a lawn roller???  I like the arbor thingy though...but it still makes a great paper weight. :)

Could very well be a due-hicky.  :)

There is like 10 guys logged in looking at this...what a riot...:)

I always knew that the guy with a ride on picnic table would know what that was.  Gabby's Dad has got it going on.  :)

If I hadn't been busy  walking back and forth in the house carrying parts, I would have gotten it!  :)

Nice installation tool! Mine utilizes an inner hole and treaded rod to pull the bearing and seal into place.

I just put a little anti-seize on the bearing and drove it in place, worked great. Greased it and put the PTO back together. Now I have to install 6 new bearings in the deck. I was sounding rough last fall. Mowed off some onions last week and it sounded like a trashing machine.
