I'm sure they're out there. Past member RickV had a bunch of NOS tractors which have since been sold off at auction. Wether or not the new owners oiled and fueled them is yet to be seen. If Rick could find them i'm sure there is more. If you watch shows like American Pickers you see a teeny tiny glimpse of whats out there hidden in forgotten about homes, garages, warehouses, sheds and barns all across America. My family and I spent six weeks three years ago camping across the country. I almost got whiplash looking at all the abandon buildings, homes and barns on almost every road we where on.

Definitely makes you wonder!

I'm not sure I could have handled Rick's collection….It would be all consuming for me… seeing it go made my heart break…..It gave a new meaning to tractorporn…..

I talked to a son of a former dealer about 6 years ago.  When he was handling his parents estate he came across a 520 that was in the back corner of the storage building.  This was a small rural dealership and I was amazed the parts they had in stock that covered a 40 year period.  I was able to score some deals on parts, blades etc..  I also collect Lionel Trains, that is way I go into every old hardware and electrical store I come across in my travels.

I know where there is a NOS 420LSE. I tried to buy it in 2008, but it is still there. A lot of people know about it but the last price I got on it was $7900.

I know one of Rick's NOS tractors was bought by my neighbor....he couldn't stand the thought of adding oil and fuel to it, so he sold it on fleabay...some guy drove all the way from NY or NJ and bought it....it was a vertical shaft engine tractor but look brand new.

I know where a couple more of his NOS tractors went....but you know the saying, "if I told ya I'd have to kill ya"...I'm pretty sure they are still "virgin NOS" and they are still in the state of Missouri!
