I have a 314-8 and it runs great but while blowing snow I shut it off. it won't start now.

Anyone know what it may be?

Not sure if its a safety switch?

Lights go on but nothing happens?

thanks

If the PTO is engaged it won't start I believe.

All interlocks must be made.  Check the ignition switch, then the stater relay, then the starter, but first verify the battery and its level and all wires and cables.  AND ALL GROUNDS, CONNECTIONS.

One of your safeties might have gotten wet and once things dry out you would be good.  To start, there must be weight on the seat, clutch and break depressed and PTO disengaged.

thank you guys.. Its been in warm garage for 2 weeks and no luck.

I did find a small 2" x 2" piece of plastic where the shifter is? No sure if its a safety or something that broke?

i haven't driven my 99 314-8 for several months now but i'm pretty sure it has a safety switch that won't allow it to start in gear. maybe your switch feel off or broke ? fine where it went and jump the wires or replace the switch

What is the model number and serial number of your tractor? We should be able to find the appropriate wiring diagram with those numbers.

Do you have a test light or a voltmeter for testing?
