1985 Merkur XR4Ti.

This just freaked me out a bit :D

Over here in the UK they are called Sierras. The Cosworth engines have quite a bit of poke :handgestures-thumbup:

A little fact for you here... The engine was designed by a couple of chaps a Mr Costin and a Mr Duckworth, you can see where the Cosworth name came from... If they had of used the other half's of their names the engine would of been called a Ducktin :D

Nice Wheel Horses by the way :D

No Cosworth engine in mine. It currently has a 2.9l V6 from a Merkur Scorpio (Ford Granada). This is mated to a A4LD automatic transmission (my knees balk at a clutch for everyday driving).

Both 520 hoods came back from the neighbour after being painted and clear coated. Fenders are painted but not clearcoated yet.

Starting to look more like tractors again. Will let paint dry for a while then on go the decals.

Headlights and harness installed. Lights work fine.

Fenders are back from being painted. Need to mount the tail lights and install them.

On one of the 520's I am making up a rear rockshaft and need to install that before I install the fender on that machine.

Hopefully one will be ready to cut grass whenever the snow finally melts in my yard.

Decal kits from redo your horse are here and will be applied in a while.

Well this one should only see the 60" deck and 2 stage blower. Does that count as work ?

60" deck and a blower aren't even enough of a load to get it warm

Decals applied today. Tractors are looking more complete all the time.

Put on the 60" deck and mid mount grader blade today just to see how they fit and operate.

They work fine.

Next year I will restore the attachments.

Mounted tiller onto 520. Homemade lift assembly worked well until the cable came apart. Proper cable is on order then all will be well.
