Stacks might look and sound good, I know Andy's second D has none standard silencers and sounds fab!

Stacks do look good on a D - go for it! So do front end loaders!

The mufflers Mark is referring to are these dirt bike straight through cans.

Wakin' up the dead when you open the throttle up!

Re Newby Hall, I do hope to get there but things have got more complicated in the last year as we now have seven horses (equine sort) to look after on a daily basis. Hopeful, but it depends on my kids being around that weekend to do the honours.

I've had a nightmare day today had it all planned but with work commitments I didn't get started while 2pm I noticed the ammeter never went up while engine was running so I checked all the wiring which I've just renewed went back to the diagram etc still couldn't work it out I had 7 .2 volts coming out of the rectifier so i then thought it's got to be that so I took it off cleaned it and realised they was some primer on the terminals so I cleaned it and put a direct earth to the casing to eliminate earth problems re connected it all , and I cracked it charges @ around 13.8 volts+ so good day after all. Cheers James

Look at my profile pic close ... on the fender, between the twp phillips mount bolts there is a stupid little reflector, that when you, sit on the tractor, are completely blocked by your legs!!  LOL

here, this is bigger, brand new 1978, day we got it!!
