.... and I spotted it here in a photo you posted near the start of the thread.

It was also visible in the photo that followed this one. (both are in the first page of this thread)

I cleaned the grub off and here's another photo in reasonably high res taken today

post-4509-0-37681200-1394650920_thumb.jp

The dimensions are 147mm wide and 54mm tall. Both measured to the edges of the black sticker - with no adjustment for any shrinkage over the years.

The hydro oil sticker is rather crinkled on mine but I have taken a photo of it and the caution / parking brake but I guess they're in the set you took.

James ... just started my own D200 adventure.  We have a new Harbor Freight that opened here a few months ago ... and one of their grand opening specials was a 1/2" electric impact gun for $19.95.  I figured for $20 I would give it a try.  If you don't know, the real reason they called it a D200 is for the 200 nylon insert lock nuts on a D200, each with a burning desire to skin your knuckles!!  This impact gun just makes me laugh!!  As soon as I squeeze the trigger, the nut is off!!  Sweet!!  Best money I ever spent!  About 90% done with teardown, and NO BLOOD!!!

good luck ... bob
