Hello Ray, :text-welcomewave:   . Everything you need help-wise is here in many forms.

The usual priority is :wwp: of your C-160 when you can , and any Model and Serial numbers on it. We'll then be able to sort out your needs like Manuals as mentioned.......Edit , Sorry, just noticed you've been here since July, so I assume your pretty familiar with this place :handgestures-thumbup: .

Regards.

I'm still getting to grips with the Site and seem to be getting unwanted software appearing!  My Tractor is a C160 automatic model number 7116KS, serial number 160923 -Engine model number K3418, specification number 71223A,serial number 8128631 - mowing deck 5 36MR01-21634-8136.  I have the original Owner's Manual and a 1975 Parts Manual, but I suspect the latter is earlier than my model.

Kind regards

Hi Neil,  Nice to know there is another member nearby.  I recently visited a helpful WH enthusiast in Horton Ilminster, which is in your neck of the woods.

Kind regards

Yeah, Look's like you have a 1977 . A few small differences in the numbers (Belgium built?) , but not an issue and thanks for putting those up.

I'm sure you've spotted the differences in your Parts Manual and the actual Tractor, but you may well have found the correct one on here in the relevent section.

Good Tractor , Not seen many 16hp Autos here in UK.

I have the same Deck as you. :handgestures-thumbupright:

Shame your having issues via this Site, not experienced that myself.

Regards.

Ray , not sure who the Ilminster chap is ,

The best way to get rid of the Gremlins that may appear is to become a supporter , most of us euro guys are now supporters of this site and for just a few quid it will be the only & best manual you will need .

The Tractor world show at three counties show ground is well worth a visit .

Hello Ray, Further to my PM (personal mssge), here's some assistance for posting pics direct from your PC. Ordinary membership has a limit of 1mb per image (8mb total).  Supporter's are Unrestricted and can send images in PMs .......no pressure there then!.

I've put it here so you can refer (scroll down to it) to it while practicing to add a pic on this thread. Hope this helps-

If you scroll down to the bottom of this post to 'Reply to this Topic'.

Start your Reply (or Thread), then left CLICK on the 'More Reply Options' button in the bottom right hand corner (next to the red 'Post' button).

This will give you a 'Preview' and below at the bottom left hand corner, you will find 'Attach Files'.....click on 'Browse' to search your pics on your computer.

When you find/selected/highlighted (with a left click) the one you want to post, click on the 'Open' button and the link will appear in the Box next to 'Browse'

Click on 'Attach This File'  and your pic will (should) link to your post in a Bar at the bottom.

Place your Cursor in your typed Post where you want the Pic and then in the picture bar Click on 'ADD TO POST '.

The link code will then appear in your post.

Click Preview to see the picture/layout of your Post where you hadplaced your curser.

Your pic size limit is also shown in the 'Attach' area at the bottom I believe.

Edit -Bye the way, if  you haven't found it yet, the Illustrated Parts List for your C-160 is in the Manuals section.

Any probs, let us know.  Regards.

Hello Richard,

Sorry for the delay in replying - I'm still having problems with my computer!  I can see that my previous attempts to send pics were unsuccessful, because I was attempting to exceed the 1mg limit.  I have, as you intimated, become a supporter, thereby circumventing that limit.  Following your detailed help I am endeavouring to attach pics of my Tractor seat to this reply.  I will make sure I reduce the size of my pics in future!post-11145-0-67587600-1389897955_thumb.jpost-11145-0-16112000-1389898053_thumb.jpost-11145-0-90299000-1389898170_thumb.j

Ray

That Michigan seat looks pretty much the same as the original on my 227-5 built at South Bend. Mine has drain holes to let the water out. I also scrapped a 210-4 that had a low back Michigan seat slightly different style with no drain holes now on my A-800.

Hello all. I am looking for suggestions on adapting the pto from my C series tractor to a harbor freight predator 420 13hp engine. I know the predator motors are a controversial topic however it is the route I have chosen for this particular machine. The intent was to mostly use it for plowing so no PTO required but it would be handy to have. Looking to hear from someone that has successfully done the swap that may offer any advice before I attempt to transfer it over. Just looking for any general pointers that will help me along the way to make it go as smoothly as possible.

1979 c-101 nice project tractor just needs a few odds and ends, steering wheel, coil, carburetor bowl, the wiring was redone by previous owner....all 4 tires are good and hold air it goes into all gears no problem, transmission fluid has been changed, 10hp Kohler, message me or call or txt with any questions, it does run and runs well,  it’s been kept inside since I’ve had it, I would also trade for a mid mount grader blade thanks

Will the plow I am using on my C121 and C160 work on a 876?
or is the plow frame different?
      Thanks

      Hi All,

I have what I believe is a Commando 800 but would like to confirm model and year.  Tag reads Model # 1 0100 6; Serial # 790336. Have had it for years (bought from original owner) and want to clean it up some.

      Thanks!
