I have a Custom 2" Heavy Duty Hitch for sale. Comes with mounting plates and hardware.
It is brand new, never got to tow anything with it. I ordered it from one of the vendors on this site. He did a great job of making and shipping it, it was well worth what I paid for it.
About the time I got it, I decided (sadly) I needed to part with the 520-H that it was intended for.
I hope one of you guys can use it.
I hope that the vendor (I don't want to mention his name without his permission) will understand why I am re-selling it this price.
I will split the cost of shipping with the buyer, probably around 20 bucks more or less depending on where its going and how you want it shipped.
I have a 520H and need to mount a hitch to move a boat and trailer (approx 2000 lbs) No problem moving it with my old 244. I don't weld, so I am faced with looking into available ready made options. I have looked through RS pretty well and not found a solution. There are some vendor/members that have GREAT looking high quality stuff I just haven't seen one where the ball ends up high enough to suit my needs.
I came across this on Ebay and wondered if anyone would care to give me an opinion.
I see many different hitch arrangements that work with the drawbar but I don't understand what keeps the whole hitch unit from tilling forward and rearward as you reverse with a load.
Am I just missing the point? I had someone weld a plate on my 244 so its locked in position but I just don't get how the "floating" drawbar hitch works. Does this depend on the "tabs" that rest against the back of the gearcase to act as "stops"?
Thanks in advance
My buddy gave me his 523 Dxi tractor as I just moved from a 75' x 130' lot to 6 acres. A world of difference! I have a Gravely dump cart that I want to hook up to the tractor and want to get other accessories. Here is what is on the tractor now, so I guess I just need a ball hitch, but does anyone have other suggestions? or is there something better? THX
Does anyone know where I could purchase the Scott Moreau receiver hitch for my 416 h? I welded a 2 inch receiver onto the standard wheel horse hitch but I need something a little stronger for a thousand pound boat I move around the property. I would also weld my own if there are any plans around. Thanks Chris
