Just thought you all would get a kick out of seeing a red John Deere.  Found on CL in N.H.

Careful C-101. John Deere did make a few with a cream 'body' and rims and stuck a few different color hoods on them. They had red, blue and I believe orange. Proof positive that just covering the green and yellow doesn't improve them.

That's them JimD. My Dad started out with a 4HP :wh: in 1960, he then got a 64, I believe a 704, then, apparently after having a brain fart, he bought a 69 or 70 greenie (110 or 112). It was that style but the typical green even though I told him a red hood would be cool. Two years later he gave up on it due to so many issues and bought a 71 or 72 Raider 12. That thing had to work it's butt off but was still going strong 30 years later. After my Dad passed my nephew used it then ended up selling it :angry-screaming: We were living down here at that time and my Mom didn't think I would want to bring it down here.

Looks like it was left in the sun - and finally ripened.

Whoever own that JD should decorate it with some tinsel and candy canes, and stick it out in the front yard as a Christmas decoration! :handgestures-thumbupright:

I'm not a Deere fan, but I have to admit, the Patio tractors are pretty cool - especially if you have one of each color in a lineup. And they are not cheap!
