Need info on my new Horse

Howdy,,,,, I have been cleaning up my new WH The ID # under the seat is....

2112K804. 2094 ... I believe that is what it says.... The numbers are worn. Not sure if that is a K

Anyone help as to the year of this 312-8 .

I need to order a new tail light and lamp.... The one on there is broken.... And the lamp is gone. The number on the tail light is PM 108 15. And. SAE AP2-79. Any suggestions online as to where to order this. Here is a photo of the lense......

That's a 1987 12hp, 8 speed, 312-8 the k stands for kohler.

Wow......thanks everyone for your help!!!!! Man... You guys have all the answers. Boy am I glad I found this site. I will be able to get my 1987 fixed up. Those new LED lights are really cool! Thanks everyone.

By the way.....if I wanted to paint my muffler....is the a heat resistant paint to use.....or should 8 leave it alone ???????

I have painted several mufflers with High Heat paint from Rustoleum. Paint the muffler, idle engine for 10 minutes, let cool for 20, idle for 20, let cool for 20, run for 30, allow to cool. Cures the paint real nice. Hasn't burned off yet.

Howdy....thanks for the info on paint...and how to cure it properly. What color do most collectors use.... Black.... Silver....... Flat paint or semi gloss????

Like Mike :scratchead:  said...it is a common lens....made right here in good ole Grandview, Miissouri, USA...(PM)= Peterson Mfg......unless they have "outsourced" by now!
