56" snow plow on a WH 655???

Recommended Posts

Rusty_Tractor

Hello, I know the normal plow for a 655 is a 42", but there is a 56" plow very close to me for sale. See picture below.

Can it be made to fit? I could cut down the blade width to lessen the load on the tractor if needed.

Thanks,

Jamie

Rather than cutting that one up, I'd suggest if it's cheap enough, buy it, and trade it for what you want at a swap meet or dealer. Lots of dealers have older plows laying around if you ask.

I have a 42" plow that was ment for a short frame but someone modded it for long frames. needs redoing and a good going over but i think it may work. that big monster plow might work nicely on a GT-14 :banghead: :USA:

Thats a "D" series plow and it would not fit on your 655. What you need is a 42" short frame plow.

Post a wanted ad in the classified section here with your location.
