And the contest continues..... This month is for all D series and Auto 18's. I will post the first picture however it will not be a candidate for the contest. This one I bought and restored as a worker. Post them up early !! We have a maximum of 10 entries and that is it.

C'mon you guys with the big tractors, I know you all have some very nice ones very worthy of a few pics and a small description. I for one are really interested in seeing some of this months nominations. Steve started a thread on whether to keep the tractor of the month going. The lack of interest is really showing right here unfortunately..........

In summer 2009 at a family get together Jdog was telling me about Wheelhorse tractors and showed me this website.  He also showed me a CL ad with a D180 in Steelton PA......well I scrounged some bucks together and brought this home....with a 48 inch deck (not shown)....I joined up on this site and one of my first posts was about the tractor going backwards when the lever was pushed forward......I got an answer and had it fixed the same day.....I've been active ever since...... :)

Next I got a plow from Dave at Tractorworld....

The engine smoked very badly so I rebuilt the engine......got some rubber....a bit of paint......added a PTO shaft....got a 3 point.....

I'll take a worker any day.  Museum pieces look great, but their real value is limited.  Please feel free to share you pics.

The D's are the BIG DOGS in the Wheel Horse line up.  When I see pictures of Wheel Horse tractors that i like, I save the pictures.  This D is not mine but the pictures are two of my favorites.  It was restored and it did belong to one of our members at one time but I lost track of which one.  Not sure if it is eligible but since we all like pictures and this is a beauty I will put it up anyway.  I think this D looks awesome with the big snow blower on it.

Mine is a worker...Theres nothing wrong with workers. Who wants to spend all this money to redo one and then just look at it and dust it off?
