Hi Everyone

This is a great place for information regarding Wheel Horse tractors.  Thank you for allowing me to be a part of it.  I've already posted a question and gotten responses.  I'm not a Wheel Horse owner, yet.  I'm the executor of my mom's estate and among the items is an LT-1100 3-Speed that my dad bought in 1984.  He passed away about 10 years ago and I've been using his WH since then to maintain mom's lawn, blow snow and cart yard debris around.  Dad also had a Murray tractor that he bought in 1999.  That died a long time ago.  But the WH is always ready to work.  I have a drive belt issue now that I have asked a question about in another area.  But this tractor's engine is completely amazing in that it starts every time.  Sometimes it seems to start before my hand touches the key.  That little engine just loves to work.

:WRS:   You are right, most of my :wh:  are 50 years old and older and they are ready to get the job done, the old Lowe's MTD I gave the kids only lasted about six years.

Thank you for a warm welcome, everyone.

Don, I'll post a picture right after I get out to the "Estate" to take a photo.  I have to tell you that I can be a bit of a reductionist.  What I mean is, right now the WH is down to it's "underwear", so to speak.  I took the hood/grill off to clean the engine compartment and have yet to put it on.  I have a feeling that the neighbors are appalled when I take the old horse out to cut the lawn in its scivvies.

Amanda, I'm sure the neighbors would be laughing, too.  I would be.  If it wasn't me.  :scared-yipes: :scared-yipes:

I didn't think of that, Amanda.  That's how old a geezer I am.  I would have been all :banana-dreads: all over the web.  Thanks for the warning. :handgestures-thumbup:
