OK. I'm in on this one, with my 1963 33E Lawn Ranger.

It came out of a cornfield in Greencastle, Indiana.  Rear-end completely locked up, motor frozen, and generally in very sad shape.  I paid $40 for it, and wondered on the way home if that was too much.

It was always going to get a Kohler, but other than that the restoration started off as being a return to factory condition:

But then one day some inspiration hit me, and I just had to bastardize her:

I don't think i really qualify for voting, But I'd love to put my 702 up. It is all original condition as far as I can tell, I never have wet sanded or done anything to it. The hood does not have one dent! The picture of it in the truck is when I first brought it home. It came from south bend from a older guy who collected bolens gt's. He is deaf but can read lips, he was a really neat guy and we have seen him at a couple shows. The 702 came with a mid mount grader blade, a mower deck, and a snow plow. My dad bought it and I thought I had bought it and was going to pay my dad back when I got home, he would not let me pay him  as much as I tried and I thought he was going to keep it for himself. Chritmas morning came and the greatest gift yet came. I opened a container with a two prong key, I knew exactly what that meant. :) Attached are some picture of my tractor, this is my favorite tractor to hop on and cruise. It always fires right up, and I plowed snow with it this winter, and have graded the drive with it. I am hoping to hook up the mower deck in a couple weeks. Again, I don't think I deserve votes, just wanted to post the 702 as I've never really told the story on it.

This tractor belongs to my son Cole. It has an interesting past and its past is the main reason why my son wanted it. There was a thread A Tale of Two Horse's awhile back posted by Buckrancher. When my son read that thread and it told of this 854 being under 10 ft of water at Snyders fix it shop when the Susquehanna river rose 48 feet he was amazed. Cole commented that he would love to have this 854. It wasn't for sale though, yet anyways! Sometime later I heard it mentioned that it might be for sale at the 2012 Big Show. I told Cole and he said we could sell his go cart to get it! Well, the go cart got Cole about half the money. I didn't tell him about that little tid bit, (I covered the rest but I didn't tell him that.)

Brian had to rebuild the motor (it was froze). Brian rebuilt the rear diff and anything else that needed it. It performs like a new tractor and everything works flawless. It is used to mow the lawn once a week and it gets cleaned after each use. I tried to use it this past fall to tow a small Wheel Horse cart filled with firewood but I got yelled at by Cole. He saw me thru his bedroom window and came running outside barefoot and told me to use one of my own tractors for hauling firewood!

I might as well put Reddi in the pile. Bought it at the show 4 yrs ago. Ran like crap. Took over a half hour to get it from the parking lot to the trailer. Would have been faster pushing it. Appearance wise it wasn't bad. Needed freshening up and new decals. Frt tires were toast. I mowed, plowed and pulled with it until this year when I decided to get Marvin as a back up tractor and give Reddi a well deserved semi retirement. Some of the pics I took of it when I first got it were lost due to an electrical glitch at home.

I left the dents in the hood. What's an old tractor without a few dents!
