I could tell you a story, about my car/truck mechanic, who went through something frighteningly similar to what you just did.  A year later, if you didn't know what happened to him, you wouldn't have a clue, he's as strong and vital as ever.  Bottom line, doctors these days can do some truly amazing stuff, let them work their magic and do what they say.

 

Above all, be strong, you'll get through this, and there's a whole lot of folks out here in RedSquare land who are thinking of you and wishing you the best.
