WH1057 & Brinly 10" plow

Is a 10" plow to much for a 1057? There is one for sale localy. I just want to make sure 10hp is enough before I plunk down the money.

Tankman

Worked easy enough using an 8 hp Horse for me years ago.

Only problem was the front end of the Stallion rising, front weights solved

that. I made a front bumper and used suitcase weights.

Plowed many, many gardens!

Thanks. It just looked a bit big. I have to finish my engine rebuild first, but I don;t want to let this one get away.

Eastern PA...not far from me at all...

Might wanna do a little research on the transmission of the 1057 (if its original to the tractor).  I remember reading on this site that the 1057 had something different about it's transmission internals that made it "weaker" than other wheel horse transmissions.....
