Drove to Maryland today to save another horse. Thought it was a 854 but ended up being a 753. Didn't care, cause it was still a Horse and a round hood at that. Don't know too much about the 753 other than the basics you can figure out from the model number. Here she is

Looks complete....to bad the hood was cut.

Thanks, Jake.

Sparky... yeah, I almost shed a tear when i saw the hood was cut for a bigger muffler. I've got a buddy that restores Ferrari's so he's pretty good at metal/body work. Hoping he can fix it. I plan on restoring, right after the RJ-58 which is waiting for warm weather to paint.

Nice save! You better be careful or your garage will be to the ceiling with tractors!

Doing a little research on it. Questioning the seat....should it be the square pan kind or is the one on it the original? I've seen all kinds on the 753.

The seat should be "square".

I recently added two pictures of a mostly-original 753 in the gallery:

The accessory headlights, the gas cap, and the muffler are about the only things I see that aren't original.

Thanks terry. I'll start looking for one to replace it then. I know i'm going to need a lift cable too. its missing and the slot hitch was bolted to the toolbox with a scrap piece of metal.

I saw the tracor on there too. Price seems a little outrageous if you ask me.

I agree that the price is high, but a nice original tractor cannot be duplicated no matter how much money you have.
